hey wow.. the carribean sure is a great place to shoot. ended up getting 5 usable prints (okay, out of 100 total). But 5% is still better than my usual 1%.

you know what i love about being hung over? i appreciate art so much more.
i can watch a movie and have the deepest emotional experience with it... look at a painting and feel like its gripping my heart at 10 paces... listen to a track and finally realize what they wanted me to feel all along.

Thank you for your generous comments on my photography of bequia! I often wondered what those from vincy might think of my work, and I'm honoured that you at least don't find it bland vacation-photography 
Bequia was a wonderful place for a 2 week visit, and I hope to explore more of the grenadines next time. I had a chance to hike to "La Soufriere" from Georgetown on my last day, and I realized that I missed out on a lot in vincy.
If you don't mind, I will spend some time browsing your collection -- I'm particularly interested in how 'insider' photography is different from mine as an 'outsider' to the islands.
